Default smarty w/ edge attitude---cumminalong

I'm thinking of adding a smarty to my edge attitude. I want just a little more fuel and keep the safety features of the edge and some features of the smarty like correcting tire size. Is it nesecarry to remove the edge when downloading the smarty? And yes succoast or ats is in my near future for trans mods.

The ONLY thing you have to do when you are loading the Smarty tunes is to unplug the OBDII connector so you can plug in the Smarty cable.

Once the Smarty gets done loading, just plug it back in.

Remember to only load the even numbered CATCHer tunes. The odd ones add timing and the Edge already does it.

After that, sit back and roll the coal.

On Edit: Just remember this too....when you reprogram with the Smarty, if the boost or EGT's get too high, the Juice will only back out IT'S OWN additional fuel. Whatever extra that is being provided by the Smarty will continue.

You can get those EGT's up in a hurry if you're not careful.

Once I build up the nerve to follow my mentor's lead there, I'll probably get a Smarty to stack with my Edge. I just know how I am, ............some teenager trying to impress his girlfriend pulls next to me in his trashed out F150 wanting to get it on. I'd just hate like hell (opps.....can I say that?) to blow a gasket, or even worse melt down a piston.

Beside's I really need one, for if anything, to correct my speedo.
