Default pro comp tires

I am about to order a wheel and tire package from 4wheelparts, but before i do i figured i would ask you guys. Do any of you have the pro comp extreme all terrains in 35/12.50 17? Iwas wondering how they hold up with tread life and if they are a good tire being only a D rated tire.
Thanks

To answer your PM, the most recent time I have bought 7089's from 4wheelparts I payed $2051.68 total.

172.99 a piece for the wheels
325.99 a piece for the tires

and I got a 100.00 pro comp mail in rebate.

Wow dude. Look around. Most of the people in this section, who have aftermarket tires have the Pro Comp X A/T's. You just need to look around a bit. But to answer your question, they work well off road, the are a bit loud for an All Terrain, some guys will tell you they are not, but they must have the music up too loud. As far as treadwear, I can't tell you how the treadwear is, I only have about 3000 miles on mine; plus, I actually go off roading with my truck, it is not for looks, so my tires are going to wear faster.

The first set of tires I was running (pro comp xtreme all-terrains) were the 305x65r17's e rated. I thought they worked well and maybe I did have the radio up to loud, but I could barely hear them. Course my exhaust is stupid loud so maybe that was covering it up as well?, or maybe the e rating has something to do with it?

The first time I bought 7089's I think I payed something like 135 a pice, but that was like a year ago.

being E rated may have had something to do with it. Mine are D rated, so they are a bit softer.

I just ordered the pro comp 7089 wheels off of ebay. I ended up paying around 625 shipped. I went with the 35/12.50 pro comp extreme all terrain for 880 shipped so thats right at 1500 total. They were having that buy 3 get one free sell so i went ahead and went for it. What kind of miliage are you getting with these tires Az2500?

while I dont have the size your asking about, my 325-60-18's which are E rated have about 74k on them, while they do look like they have 74k on them as they've seen considerable off road time, they still hold air, balance fine and dont seem to have any issues that I can tell. I will buy them again once the 2nd set I picked up in the garage are done... I guess in about 4~5 years at this rate. [&:]
