Default Quadzilla Max Mileage Module

Anyone out there got any hard numbers on Quadzillas claim to 8% to 12% MPG improvement

I'm looking for hand over hand calcs.
The Console indicator is less accurate than the long range weather forecast

I have an 06 Quad Cab 4x4 with 3.73 gears and get about 15-16mpg around town, 19 highway
When towing I get about 14mpg if I stay about 65, and it goes downhill fast if I tow at 75 or 80
(11-12mpg if no head wind)

At $5 a gallon I am interested in anything that REALLY WORKS,
but there is a lot of SNAKE OIL out there!!!!!!

Welcome aboard!!

I was looking into buying one too but there were some posts here by Max Mileage owners that claimed they didn't see a great improvement. Check some of the mileage threads.

From what i've seen here your getting about average for mpg's which isn't bad.

There is a ton of info in previous mileage posts about what you can do to squeeze some extra miles out of your fuel. The 2-cycle oil and keeping my foot out of it has seemed to work the best for me.

Thanks

I also find that foot has A LOT to do with economy.
If I can ease her along and keep the RPM under 1800 as I accelerate it makes a big difference. Pisses the Californians Squirrels behind me off, but I can't help that.

I have been reading some of the other threads on mileage. Some are helpful, some have a lot of opinion, but not a lot of reliable numbers.

What ratio are you adding the 2 cycle oil ???

My milage actually went down when I installed the Max Mileage. Took it off, mileage went back up. Put in back on, mileage went back down. I lost about 1.5mpg with it installed. You want to buy it, i'll make you a smokin deal

I am also running 2 stroke oil at 1 ounce per gallon of fuel. I haven't really gotten any good results because i have been towing but the next trip i do i am going to try to keep the it unloaded and see how i do. i also have the adrenaline by quadzilla which is supposed to have the max mileage built into it. when i ran the truck on that setting it ran crappy and had no power but if i add some extra fueling to it then the truck actually runs better on the highway and also i think gets better mileage.

Slow down about 5 MPH and you'll get your 8%-12% increase for free. Here in TN all of the Interstate speed limits are 70. I usually drove between 70 and 75. This past weekend, I set the cruise on 65 and left it there while towing my horse trailer. In the past the same trip usually took right a 3/4 tank of gas. This time the fuel gauge was right on the line between half and 1/4. I didn't even notice the extra 10 minutes it took to make the trip each way, but I sure did notice the extra fuel in the tank.

I noticed a 1-1.5 mpg increase.
My truck did run smoother and had a little more pep but not much.
it wasnt intended to gain power.

pretty much any module will give you mileage gains as long as you keep your foot out of it.

buy one and if you dont like it send $90 into quad and have them change it to a XZT2 which will give you 1mpg and 60 horses.

Well thank you all for the help.

Looks like the vote is one went up, one went down, and one saw nothing, so I guess I'll hold off on investing in one untill I hear some more positives.

Anyone got any other things they have tried that worked out well for mileage improvement??

I got a smarty jr. and really like it, mostly for the way the truck drives but unfortunantly not much if anything for mileage improvement.
