Default General Tire comeback

Kent Kroeker whooped some *** this past march at the Mint 400 in his 2500 Ram, with the new General Grabber Competition tires. They are "Off Road Use Only," for now. I first saw them on the back cover of the June Four Wheeler Magazine, and they look pretty bad ***. General Tire is sponsoring Kent Kroeker's full 2008 season. That means he will be running these tires this fall in the Baja 1000 in one of his many CTD race trucks. If Kroeker uses these tires, and likes them, I want a set! These things look awesome.

Its a new Grabber. Magazines are just refering to it as "General Grabber Competition Tire."

Look at the tires tread design. Look at the way the tread siping is. It channels inwards on one side, but in the second picture, the tread looks like it is channeling outward. I can see this tire causing the truck to walk to one side in mud. I guess it really doesnt apply in sand and dirt as it would in mud, but it is kinda the same concept. I am really interested in seeing an undercarriage mounted camera to see this tire in action.

But it Kent Kroeker likes the tire, then it must be good!

It would be interesting to see some reviews on these, for an "Off-Road" tire you'd think it would have a more aggressive sidewall to it. Definitely looks like they'd clean good. Im trying to find out more about them myself.
