Default 2004 2500 Diesel

We have a leak on our 2004 Dodge 4x4, Cummins Diesel. I am almost sure it is the water pump, over 110,000 mileson it. Just wondering if anyone is able to tell me how difficult this is to change, and where to possibly find a part on a sunday. We are leaving tomorrow for a funeral in Ohio, and I need to get this done today. I work with my truck and have to work ahead to get my customers taken care of. Please help! I tried searching but nothign came up on water pump.

What color of fluid would be leaking if it was the water pump? My dad was driving it this morning, and it has had a squeak, he was at a stop sign, he heard a pop, then the squeaking stopped.

Fluid will be greenish yellowif it's the regular kind or redish orange if it's the extended type.

Look in the resevoir....as you are facing the engine, it should be in the upper left corner of the engine bay.

Better make sure it was a coolant line and not an oil line, especially to one running to the turbo.

Also, check to make sure it's not tranny fluid. ATF is almost the same color as the extended life coolant, excpet it's darker red and a bit thicker.
