im running 2 stroke but just started and the pump was going before i started. I am at $1250 right now for the vp44, stealth cover, and cam sensor. I am planning on installing it myself to save some money. That is a damn good price you got there NCcummins. Like woli and everyone else told me it might be a good idea to change the cam sensor as well while your there. It is around $55 list price (sorry i am buying it through my dad's garage so I dont know retail) which isn't bad at all considering the cost of everything else. Does your truck lose throttle response while you are driving it?

You probably won't need these vids but they are interesting to watch on how to change a VP44.

possibly.

what is your fuel pressure going to the vp44 like?

I bet its too low....

starving the vp44 of fuel pressure is the number 1 killer of vp44s. having a fuel pressure gauge and a quality lift pump is a MUST on vp44 trucks..
