Could this be the reason diesel is so high
Long and I do mean long, but I watched it on and off, this was filmed last year and I didn't read a thing about it in the papers.
If it's the truth, then why are we going after them

i believe it is true. I work in the oilfield and my company is spending just millions on dollars on newer rigs and what not. And the oil company we work for spend millions of dollars just for nothing sometimes. So i really dont believe there is a crisis its just a way for all the goverment and oil companies to get rich.

Fellas... plz take this with a grain of salt. Lindsey Williams is a religous fanatic (he got a job as a preacher at the various oil field camps!?...been in this business for 28yrs never have I seen a preacher/pastor/priest/rabbi or another religous leader in a camp! Have seen semi freight trailers converted to brothels but never saw a church!), he also has video on 2012 doomsday predictions (where all the planets in our solar system align with something else... blaa blaa blaa) anyways, you can check for yourself by googling "NorthSlope Oil". There is alot of unproven oil/gas reserves on the North Slope. Most of the suspected reserves have to be ok'd by the Alaskan govn. before they can even do sesmic let alone any drilling! But before that can happen they have enlarge the Alaskan pipeline (at peak capacity now). But, again, there always been lots of reserve oil/gas fields, problem is processing facitlities are running at full capacity! Before any of this "billions of barrels of crude oil" (which is heavy oil...harder to process) North America (Canada and the USA) need to build a few more refineries. Without the added processing facilities, that oil/gas is going to stay in the ground and may never be touched!
For, the tree hungers, the bickering oil companies and the Alaskan govn, will never get their shiet together and agree to let the oil/gas be processed or allow an expansion of the Alaskan pipeline!
We are stuck with high fuel prices, until the day comes when the bubble bursts! There will be a day like this soon enough, when oil companies won't be able to give the stuff away. Just look at auto prices for example, they (automakers)priced themselves to a point no one was buying, DC is giving fuel away, 0% finacing, GM closing truck plants down, Ford the same. Give it time it will come down.
JMHO!
