Default Exhaust Brakes???

im just wondering for those who have these on there rides how often do you use yours?? I use mine on alot of highway and interstate driving but if im doing alot of slow in town driving i dont use mine cause it causes a hard downshift on my tranny when im slowing down at a speed of 30 mph or slower. So im just curious how everyone uses there Exhaust Brakes on there rides.

mines on all the time, I always downshift, the shifting is alot smoother and the eb is more effective.

I turn mine on as soon as I start the engine. I use it non stop. I rarely use the brakes anymore. Only to bring me to a full stop.

If you have a 6.7 CTD, you need to turn it on every time you start the engine. It helps keep the slides clean as well as saves the brakes...
