Default Whos using a 48re transgo Shift Kit?

im thinking about getting it for my 06 ram 2500 4X4 w/ 4.10 gear. all i have done is airaid jr. kit and mbrp catback. i plan on getting the superchips programmer in a couple months.im not racing the truck, its pretty much used to tow my race car and week end driving.i just want alittle extra for towing and alittle playing around. i figured the shift kit could help protect the trans.

i have a couple questions about the shift kit:

1. will the kit help the trans hold up to the extra horse power from the superchips programmer?

2. could it cause any damage if it makes it shift too hard?

I have an 03 which I believe has the 47re with the transgo shift kit. It shifts nice and crisp and my transmission guy told me the it raises the pressure which these transmissions like a lot more. Hope this helps.

Your next problem would be a slipping torque converter... if you can, do the TC before getting up there in the power settings of the superchips...
