Default Hey yall need some feed back.

What do yall know about Kabota diesel?
I'm looking onto a grasshopper mower with one .
How many hours are they good for ?
Are they expensive to repair and maintain?
Any info would be good .
Thanks

Kubota or Kabota? If it is a Kubota, their tractors are pretty good my partner has one with a diesel engine. If it is a Kabota, sounds like a cheap chinese rip off.

Have a kubota tractor, got about 1000hours on it. Real easy to maintain. I've had to pull the fuel tank and clean it out once (bad batch of diesel), other then that no problems.

All the farmers around here are going with Kubota and John Deere. I don't see how the New Holland or Massey Ferguson places stay in business. If my Ford 3000 ever dies, I'll more than likely get a Kubota.

Isn't Kubota Korean? I think that it is, and ya probably get alot for your money. I know that alot of guys have them at the deer camp in Mississippi. Sort of a no frills / get er done kind of tractor.

I stand corrected it is Kubota.
I didsome research and they're pretty popular.
Even Bobcat outs them in their equipment.
So I'm gonna hid up this weekend and pick it up.
Thanks for the input guys.

Mahindra tractors aren't half the tractor as a Kubota (which is Japanese). I had a guy come out with a Mahindra 50hp and front end loader and it couldn't pick up crap.
