Default 2005 Malfunction Indicator Light

I just installed a Bullydog outlook with the triple downloader. I haven't installed the pyrometer that came with the kit yet. After installing everything, but the pyrometer, my indicator light came on for a malfunction. The owners manual says that this indicator shows a problem with the trucks fuel control system or exhaust. I'm just wondering if this is due to the pyrometer not being installed, or some other bigger issue??

The light came on because its Bullydog. Take that thing off and get something else.

Bully has some decent hardware, but their electronics have screwed up more than one truck around here.

If you want a programmer, get a Smarty. If you want a box with gauges, get an Edge or TST.

You couldnt pay me to put Bullydog stuff on my truck.
