Make sure you remove the gauge from the mount and check the wires on the back side. Dollars to doughnuts, its the source wire that`s got a bad connection.

Ours did that at first when the hubby installed it. There was a bad ground. Check your wires analog or digital.

so i checked every wire and put some electrical tape on the connections just so it will hold a little better it works ok now i hate electoral components[sm=headbang.gif]

Yup! Gotta love those connections. I try to minimize the number of splices and connectors to a bare minimum. The more direct the wire, the better.

I hit 1350 on a regular basis, but that is where the warning is set on the Quadzilla.

I've hit 1405 one time and backed off as soon as I saw the reading. So far no melted pistons or valves for me.

my gauge occasionally will jump around on my truck and then will just stay at over 1600 and i know that all the connections are ok. i don't worry about it because i have the adrenaline which has its own digital gauges.
