I beleive that mine has a 11.5, positive traction axle. As for a 2008, If I were you, I'd look for a 2006 or 2007.5 with the 5.9 engine. Just my opinion.

Why the 5.9 engine? The way I see it the 6.7 is more hp and more tq. It has been rated as the cleanest buring diesel engine out of any truck.I dont about the gas miliage. but from what I can see it fine. and they come with 6 speed auto.

That clean burning engine equipment on the 6.7 has been nothing but problems. There have been many TSB's for various "fixes" to try and eliminate all the MIL's.

I think they have to have more hp and torque tomake upfor all of the power loss from the emisions equipment.

Buy an older 5.9L and then with your left over extra money call ATS.

I didn't realize that the power wagons came with lockers, front or rear. If so, that is kinda cool!

Have you checked www.arbusa.com ?

Looks like ARB does make an air locker for our AAM 9.25 and 11.5 axles.... if I read their application chart right?

Dude, are you planning on using a mega dually for offroading? These trucks are real heavy, wide, long, and have a poor turning radius... whats yourplans for the new truck man?
