Default adrenaline chip instaled

The new chip is in and does it make a world of difference. 180 horse and 420 toque lbs. It takes the truck and throws it down the road. I had the Edge Comp. ( for sale ) 40-120 horse installed since 03 and was happy with that but this blows it away. Earlier had a garrett stage 3 turbo put in, it lagged a little but the chip took that right out. VERY IMPRESSED. I haven't uploaded and more programs yet for it but will when I take the truck to a dyno.

who makes the chip & watch out for your tranny/clutch... if they are not upgraded, you'll be fixing it soon at those power levels.

it is quadzilla that makes it steve. like steve said watch the tranny. if i get on mine hard with it on level 10 in the 2000 series tunes then my trans will slip like crazy. it is only a matter of time before it will need rebuilt! try the dyno tune! it is awesome but be careful that you don't get the pyro too hot! with that tune i can only put about half throttle into it before my egts sky rocket.

thanks for the come back, I do have the upgraded clutch. Huckstorf diesel said the clutch is good up to 600 horse. I do have a 5 speed in it with 120 horse injectors with 5 inch exhaust. I did notice the egts go up in a hurry though. How did you find the downloading of the programs, pretty easy??? The dyno tune fuels 100% right away if I remember right?? How is that on the road?? How did it affect your milage leaving it that high while driving it nicely??

the programs download easily from quadzillapower.com. the dyno tune does turn the fuel to 100% almost immediately and i not recommended for use on the road since it produces mass amounts of smoke. i only ran the program once and then i reprogrammed because my egts were way too high and i didn't want to risk burning a valve or anything else. i typically use the 2000 series with the egt guard for the large injectors and it works nicely.

Do you remember the 2000 series # that you used?? If I remember the 2000 series is exposed to be around 200 horse I thought the deisel place told me. Would you run the Dyno program on the Dyno or pullin or just run the program that you have good luck with? The 3000 series is exposed to be out in about a month or 2. thanks again

i use the ADR2019 file all the time in my truck. it seems to work really well for me. if i need the power then it has tons there but i can also run it in level 1 and still have enough power to do what i need to. there is one 3000 series out now but it is only a beta version. i would only use the dyno tune for racing and possibly pulling but beware that it is extremely healthy with fuel. your exhaust temp will skyrocket with the dyno tune. mine get too high with just 2000 series and with the dyno i cannot go over half throttle except for a second or two max. don't forget that it is a good idea to keep the power turned down low until the truck reaches operating temperature. then you can crank them up all the way!

I paid $ 625.00 for the chip. After install it ran me around $ 800.00. Huckstorf Diesel did it for me. Sometimes they are a little higher than a few other places but I can always call them or email them and they are ALWAYS there for me. Plus they are extremely nice people to deal with. 2019 file excellent, thank you again for all the help. When I get it back I'll down load it. I have him at the body shop puttin on new fenders and a cowl hood. I'm a hoping to have it by this weekend. I'll take pictures. thanks again

no problem it is why i am on this forum to help others. my adrenaline cost me $550 and i installed it myself. i got it from discountpowerparts.com the owner larry is very helpful and experienced. he is currently building one hell of a 05 cummins since he blew the motor up now twice! he gave me the adrenaline cheap since i have been letting him see how it works and what it can do. i just ordered a pulse controller from him so i will let everyone know how well it works when paired with the adrenaline module.
