TIRES ?????
I just installed a set of Wild Country Radial XTX Sports LT285-70/17.
They are 8 Ply and not 10 ply. But they have a good pay load rating. They
carry 65psi and that makes them react and handle just like 10 ply's.
I made the mistake and went with a lighter 8 ply and they gave my truck the
death wobble.....they stayed on for 3 weeks or so and came off. Live and learn.
The Wild Country's look sharp and handle well.....that's my 2 cents!

my lift sequence and tires.
1- stock all around NO ISSUE
2- leveling kit with 35 1250 bfg muddersFender rub at lock hitting 8" bump. recovery mission of santa fe and suburban
3- 6" superlift with 35 1250 bfg mudders Because of offset of rims making contact with arid dam on front of outside tire.
4- 6" superlift with 315 70 R 17 procomp extreme mudders No issueswith contacting
5- 8" rize industries with 315 70 R 17 procomp extreme muddersNo issues with contact just looked funny
6- 8" rize with 37 1250 R17 Hankook Mt rT03 No contacting issues just stupidity slowing my trucks roll.
because of this I would not recommend any thing larger thana 33" tire on a 4" back spacing rim.

I'm running 35x13.50x20 ProComp Extreme A/T with a 5.25" back spacing rim and its a little too big. No rubbing at full lock when you are on flat ground. The wheels are within 1/4" of the fender. Any bump and the wheels do rub.
