Hey Garret, If he wants to convert his 1500 to a dually, I have to 17's with nearly new Michelins I'll let go of. These were my stockers that came off when I installed the Weld's.

bfg are worth the price, they have a much better tread life than most at tires.

my 2 experiences with them were both bad... they suck IMO. 3 or 4 times I found myself in an intersection when all 4 tires locked up on wet pavement. ABS does no good if all 4 tires cant get traction enough to spin. Both times I had them they were on the truck when I got it and fairly new. never again.

He has had pretty good luck with them, he has had 3 sets on this truck alone, another set on his old 98 (which caught on fire), and another set on his 86 full size Jimmy. I want him to try the Pro Comp A/T's, or even some Nittos or Toyos, but nope, stuck on BFG's.

Well, we ended up getting them from Tire Kingdom, as 4 wheel parts couldnt get them in soon enough, and we actually got them for $787 installed, even with the high pressure valve stems and such. Honestly, I really really like them. The ride is 10x different than the bald uniroyals that were on it, and I drove it today and yesterday, and it is like a new truck.
