Default Figured I would ask you guys...

You cummins guys seem to be ontop of the tire scene. My father wants a new set of tires for his 98 ram. He is set on BFG A/T's, since he has owned 4 or 5 sets in the past, so I cant talk him into Pro Comps or anything. Anyways, there is a 4 wheel parts retailer around in Pompano Beach, and I talked the guy down to $800 even installed for a set of E rated 265/75/16, which is about $150 some a tire. It seems like a pretty good deal to me, how about you guys?

That is a steal. I buy wholesale and I can't buy them for that price. If $800. is for 4 tires, thats $200.00 each. Right? Or are they $150.00 each and $50.00 to mount?

Im not sure of the exact tire price, because he originally quoted them at $832, or $165 a tire. Then I got him down to $800 even, which includes labor, mounting, balancing, tax, and disposal.

When I got mine (switched out under michelin warranty from sears) they were around $250 a tire (285's) just for the tires.

Then thats a decent price. If I was closer I could beat that price by $10.00 a tire..
