im setting up a little road trip whit a buddy of mine...[sm=gears.gif]
were set to july 27 to indiannapolis or to august 3 poconno.....anyone have any opinion where is the best place?[sm=americanasmiley.gif]
anyone want to join in?[sm=icon_rock.gif]
something nice to see around?
were interrested in old battleground,museum,old fortifications and the like or anything great around cars,girls,guns or history...[sm=groupwave.gif]

Indianapolis Speedway is a great track and is always a lot of fun. I've never been to Pocono, so I really can't compare the two.

i dunno yet,for Sure Indiannapolis may be great but its 16hrs of travel instead of 7 something...

Yup Mayfair i would had let u know even if u didnt posted on that tread

the problem with pocono is you can only see the corner that you are sittig in. the damn track is too big!!!!! i went there once and would not spend the money again. that track is better left to the big screen and full fridge in my house. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Most people say the same thing about Indy. Personally I love going there each Memorial weekend for the big 500 race. But when you have a 2-1/2 mile giant rectangle that isn't high banked you can't see the whole track from anywhere except TV.
