Info on Stage 3 MPG-MAX Boost Cooler
I just bought the Stage 3 MPG-MAX Boost Cooler. Want to see if anyone can give me some info on it. Or if anyone is running this setup tell me how it has worked for you. Thanks.
Thanks Steve for the reply. I got it off of snowperformance.net and Ilooked atall there was on the site. I was just wondering if they are true to there word that it lowers egts 250-300 and also gives 70 plus hp. Do you run this system or know someone who does???
I would suggest a "Cool-it" intercooler from BDdieselperformance it can drop EGTs down around 200deg andflows over 50% more air flow over stock intercooler. With upgraded intercooler your not having to mess with mixing methanol/water solutions. Another plus is intercooler is there all the time where as with a meth/water injection is used sparingly.
With what you have listed in your signature, your "snow stg 3" should have given you the 70hp or more depending on spray nozzle and your meth/water ratio. From what i see, with the "go fast" stuff you already have, the intercooler will go a long way in controling those high EGTs your most likely seeing, the snow kit you have is really only meant for short shots. The intercooler will cool EGTs from the time you start your beast up till you shut her down!

No head work has been done. I just got everything done except for the exhaust, edge, RFI. I am in Iraq right now. I get home in two weeks. The truck right now is in the shop getting the tranny rebuilt. So I have not even driven the thing. My buddy who did most of the work said the truck was running high egts driving over to the trannyshop. I bought the system to help with the egts and to gain hp. I just wanted to get general feedback on the snow stg 3. But the "cool it" looks like a good product. I am pretty new to the mods world so I am always open to ideals. What do you suggest on the head????

What size is your turbo? Racing twins would help in lowering EGTs as well! 
With all that "giddi-up-go" stuff, be gentle on the go pedal, head gasket may have trouble holding the added hp! You could use head studs and high pressure head gasket. ARP head studs the way to go.The snow kit is basicaly used for racing/sled pulling and some use it for added power when towing (to get to the top faster and cooler).

The turbo is 64mm made by High Tech. The head studs have been changed and the gasket has been changed too. I dont know all that much about what kind of studs where installed but I do know they where changed. I sent my buddy an email about the intercooler and I think we are going to wait until I get home and drive the truck around and just see what kind of numbers the egt will be at. Twins would be nice. I got like $13,000 now into this damn thing. I didnt plan on going this crazy but when you got the money and you wanna go fast sh*t happens.
