im not 100 percent sure on it but i believe the 5.9 came out around 88 or 89. In that span Dodge kept it this whole time while both Chevy and Ford changed there displacements like 2 or 3 times. I agree and do believe its not all the 6.7l motors fault and that it is the emissions stuff. I also believe that it will be a strong motor in the future and something we will all be proud to own.
