Question Deq in oregon?

Does anyone live in Oregon and know if we need to DEQ our trucks or how we go about getting new tags? This is my first diesel and I need tags soon but my renewal that was sent to me says I need to go get a certificate of compliance from DEQ? I own a 2005 by the way any info would be great.... Thanks

no deq for the diesel. you just sign the renewal card stating you operate a diesel
and pay the normal fee.

FYI:

http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/vehicle/emissions.shtml

Diesel-powered vehicles with manufacturer's gross weight rating of 8,500 pounds or less are tested.

You might want to take a look at this site, just so your educated.
