I don't believe that ATF has near the BTU content as diesel does to burn. I talked to my dad, whom has worked for CAT for 20 years, and he said that would most likely decrease your overall life of the engine. Food for thought.

 

Don't worry about the red part. If your tank gets probed there are tests to run to prove there is no dye in your fuel.
