Sweet. I just won an auction on a very very clean 1999 2500 Quad 5.9L 24v with 57k miles for $12,500 on ebay. Been looking to find a 97 - 99 local to me with low mileage for a long time now. I cant wait to go pick her up this week. This will be my first truck and my first diesel. Looks like you got a real good deal on a 06!

welcome to DF... how about some pics?

2wd? 4wd? shortbed? longbed? details details...

in stock form the rams CTD's are pretty tough. if you plan on bumping the power do the research 1st to see how the clutch or AT will hold up with your plans

It is a quad cab short bed 4X2. I kept my 98 1500 quad with the 318 for my 16 year old daughter to drive when she needs a vehicle and also to loan to friends when they want to use a truck. for most days I ride my kawasaki concours because 46 mpg is hard to beat. So far I love the truck. has anyone used a product called seafoam in their dodge? I use it in my gas motors and in my kubota diesel. in the kubota the fuel gauge did not work until I ran 2 tankfuls of seafoam through it Randy
