Default Little Problem

I changed the fluid in the front and rear diffs today. Went to all royal purple. while i was torquing down the front cover 2 bolts on the top of the cover snapped. What do i do now? how do you fix this?

You could try an easy out. I like the ones sears sells you drill ahole in the center of the bolt and put the easy out in and turn it with a wrench. As a last resort you can drill out the hole and retap it.

worse case if that doesnt work you can make sure you cover anything that will ignite and weld nuts to whats left of the bolt if the is enough room but be careful when doing that that you dont weld the cover by mistake
