Default 96 cummins loosing power bad.

I have replaced the fuel filter several times.(no change) I have also pulled the tank, cleaned the screen in the tank, blew through all the lines between the tank and pick-up pump and then from the pick up pump through the filter to an open ended line before entering the injector pump.(no change) I then totally bypassed the entire fuel system from the tank by using a 3/8" fuel line with an electric fuel pump from Carter that flows around 90gph. I put the fuel hose into my tank via the vent on the filler neck to pull suction and discharged the electric fuel pump through the stock fuel filter on the truck. Ok... so now I still have a great power loss (like having trouble getting to 70mph).

Do the injector pumps go out slowly??? or do they have similar symptoms when going out???

The truck has only 200k miles. I have serviced it regularly (fuel Filters, oil, ect.). I dont think the engine is not hurt. The belt still squeaks when I turn off the key so Good compression???

check your turbo, hoses and intercooler etc for leaks. May have a hose that is torn, cracked or loose.

No turbo issues that I could find. Every once in a while it will run like normal but that "normal" is very seldom. I will be driving down the road at hwy speeds and it will just start dropping speed like to 45mph no matter what you do with the throttle and then I can put it into nutural and let it idle for a moment (if it doesnt die) and then drop it back in gear and some times it will resume hwy speeds. other times I will have to stop and let it sit with the engine off then fire it back up and go again.

Problem solved! My dad and I brought it to Weavers Motors in Kirbyville TX and they checked everything out and just found that we had bought another load of bad diesel. They pulled the tank and cleaned it again and replaced the fuel filter again. After all we did pulling the tank (the first time) and cleaning it, we got some more dirty fuel.
