Default Need help to disable truck

I need to know how to disable my truck to keep a relative from driving it without permission. It needs to be a quick easy temporary fix that won't hurt the truck. Any help mucho appreciado.

Lock the door and don't leave the keys around for it. Simply say please don't touch the truck. Works for me. If someone jumps in my truck they always have to play with the switches and settings on the chip so it is easier if they just aren't allowed in it!

Problem is he has the spare key. Just talking nice to him won't do it.

You could try wiring a switch to the ground side of the starter relay. That way if the switch isn't flipped then the truck won't even crank. Just be sure to mount it somewhere that they won't find it, and hide the wires and such.

battery disconnect switch. Locate it anywhere you want to.

Pull the starter relay. Or fuse number 10 in the fuse box under the hood...

That's kinda what I'm thinking. A man that won't respect another man's property—especially after a gently worded warning/request—needs some attention... family or not.

you could always take the spare key away from him. Doesn't sound like he should have it in the first place.

thats what I was going to say.

but your relative's *** does need a new set of shoes. wtf
