Default what's the best years to buy

I'm thinkin of buying a diesel here soon, and I'm not real familiar with the Dodge. I've heard there are some good years and some bad years.. I would like to stay 02 and above... Can anyone give me some input.. Thanks...

They're all "good" — but knowing what you intend to do with it will help a great deal. Do you want drop-dead reliability, or are you looking to build a ridiculously outrageous HP/torque monster? Do you tow often, or at all? Mostly highway driving, or is this a get-around-towner?
