Why am I gaining oil?
Hello,
I have an 08 6.7 with a manual transmission. There are only 1400 miles on this truck. When I fist got it the oil read about 1/8" over the full mark. Now it reads about an inch over the full mark. It is reading on the cable part of the dip stick. Has anyone had a similar problem? The dealer told me to change the oil so that they could verify the gain in oil. The oil looks good and has no diesel smell to it. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
