Default 04.5 eating belts

Hi,
I have an 04.5 with 90k on the ticker. It has eatin 3 or 4 belts in the past year. Seems to start on the engine side of the belt. Not sure where it is hitting. I have purchased the belts from both Geno's and the dealer and am sure they are the correct ones. Read in an earlier post that it could be the tensioner. Was thinking of taking it to the dealer but thought if it is the tensioner I could save the money and do it myself. Would rather not go to the dealer seeing I had to drop over 2k in the past month or so on ball joints, u-joints and the integrated power module.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what was the cause? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

could be the tensioner or a water pump (bearings going out) bearings on either one would cause them to wobble and take out the belt. remove the belt and see if you have any "wobble" in the tensioner or water pump.
