Hey, I have a 1996 Cummins 12 valve 4x4, the auto trans is showing some signs that shes gonna go in the next little bit here so I am toying with the idea of swapping in a manual. Any idea how much I am looking at to do the whole conversion?

Also my Steering wheel is getting a bit worn aswell and I am currently parting a 1998 half ton Ram so I was thinking of swapping the wheel out of that into mine, my cummins has cruise control so would it be possible to mount the cruise control buttons from the wheel onto the top my dash so I can still use it? because the wheel out of my 1998 is a base model and doesnt have cruise
Ive never attempted anything like this before so If you know of any problems I might run into let me know,
