Biggest Tire on Stock 04 Ram3500 4x4 CTD??
Hi members.
Well, it is getting close to the time to get some new shoes for my 04 Ram 3500 Quad Cab 4x4 diesel.
I would like to get the biggest tire that I can fit without the 2" leveling kit.
I have MKW M26 rims 18x8.5 rims with an offset of +12mm and have 33x12.5R18 Toyo M/T tire but damn the price for these Toyo's have rocketed upwards!!!!
So, I am looking at Cooper STT's and Cooper Tires don't carry an exact 33x12.5R18 however, they have:
305/65R18 or 325/60R18. I am leaning towards the 325/60R18 as they are a little wider and cheaper in price and are 10ply.
Now my question would I have rubbing issues in the front lock to lock with a 325/60R18 Cooper STT mounted on my MKW M26 rims??? I do have a thin mud flap and would like to keep it on as my Diesel as it does see Forest Service Roads fairly often for my work and I don't want sand blasting on my lowers.
Any comments would be awesome
Thanks,
Mike
