fix your steering first. this should only be used if all of your steering components are good.
Its not a fix as the companies would like you to believe.
if you have a steering problem it willl not fix it, it will just hide it.
so before you throw money at truck make sure your steering is 100%

my 2 cents. there is money better spent elsewhere.

if my steering was 100%. and I had money to spend a PSC box would be my first choice, then a borgenson steering shaft then a dt trac bar.

speaking from experience. went through lots of steering with my 2nd gen

I have been thinking of going this route to tighten up my steering. I don't think I have any steering "problems" other than having loose steering, ie. I can turn the wheel from say 11 to 1 without it moving the wheels. Would this be a real issue I should address or will the steering stabilizer reduce the play? Thanks for the help. I've read so many of these steering threads but haven't concluded whether my steering was "bad" or "normal" for these Rams.

thats not normal and you should see if the box is turning and the steering is not or if the steering shft turns and the box doesnt.

the bd steering stabilizer will not fix what you have

Thanks GRI,

Sounds like I may need to take it in to get a prognosis on it. I almost wish I didn't know, after hearing about what so many members here had to do to get decent steering.
