I'm talking high way 60 mph 6 gear 1750 rpm in 6th gear, grandpa driving, City mpg is not good, any time I shift past 1500 RPM mileage goes down, I get 22mpg on the over head, and I understnd that may be off a small % but when you do the math on paper, its still close.

I should slso mention truck is a reg cab 373 ltd slip, when towing mpg is not good, due to the 373 ltd slip, truck is geared for the highway and i have added a true dual ex and CAI and I have a cab high topper.

Loaded up for bear I know a CTD should get better mpg towing larger loads and with a qud cab longt box 4x4, I don't expect the hemi to match a ctd in the same truck.

I think the 5.9 CTD in a older truck may be the way I'm going..
