Hello all. I just purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie w/ the Cummins and was wondering how I can tell which rear end I have, and if it is a limited slip differential? Are there RPO code listing anywhere that would be able to tell this?
dude i have to say this! you have a really big rear end,it's embarrassingly big you block out the sun, so don't ware spandex's its so wide you need need to ware a label i think its a dana 70 as for the ratio count the turns
I'm quite sure it's not a Dana 70, which would have a 10-bolt cover. It is most likely a Chrysler 11.5" (made by AAM), which has a 14-bolt cover. Use this webpage to help identify it: Randy's Ring & Pinion
