Default Blue Smoke and P code

So I was drivin home and all of a sudden i got a loss in power, and my idiot light came on. Turns out it's a P0216 code. Now I have an edge, and a fass pump on my 02. Now I got home scanned, then started my truck back on, at around 1400-1600 rpms I get a blue smoke. Gets worse as the RPMs go up. No smoke at start up or idle. Rough idle, and feels and sounds like a piston is missing. Could this be the VP? Or maybe a bad injector?

Also I should note that when I pulled the code, it read fuel advance timing something or other. I really hope this isnt a blown ring.

Ya if you got the P0216 code you need a new VP44 pump.
Did your FASS replace a dead stock lift pump?
