Default noise when i push in the clutch

when i push in the pedal on my six speed, there is like a squeking noise. Not in the motion of the pedal. But in the rotaion of the engine. It only does it when the pedal is half depressed or there abouts. Is this a bad sign?

took my truck to a dealership. The service manager and a tech said that the noise was due to the "floating clutch assembly" i think is what they said. The noise is not really a bad thing but the only way to stop it was after market parts. They also werer saying something about through out bearing but i never got real clear on what they were saying. They said if anything was wrong there would be a bad shake in the truck that was speed related.

BS, I have 100K miles on my DMF (dual mass flywheel) it has never made a squeaking noise that is engine speed (clutch) related. Now the pedal squeaks when I press it when it's warm out, but not related to the clutch itself.
