Default Axle fluid capacity?

What's the fluid capacity on the front and rear axles on our 6.7 ram trucks 4wd's? How many quarts does each take? Can't seem to find the answer in my owner's manual. And what's a good synthetic oil brand to use. Thanks!!

74 ounces in the front and in the rear if you have a 10.5 it is 85 ounces and if it is a 11.5 it is a 142 ounces remember to add trac rite fluid if it is a diff locker... chrysler has a good synthetic that is reasonable it is 75-90 could use 75-140 but really spendy through chrysler...

The front holds about 2.5 quarts. Dodge only uses the 11.5" rear axle on the diesel Ram, and it holds about 4.5 quarts. Seven quarts is enough for both.

I use the Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 synthetic gear oil. It's a high quality oil. If you tow really heavy you may want to go with 75W-110.
