hard to start cummins

Default hard to start cummins

04 3500 cummins need ether to start, once started runs fine. dealer installed anew high pressure pump, updated lift pump,fuel pressure valve,and still wont start. help

Its hard to burn out a glow plug when your truck doesn't use them

my bad ,should have checked the book.what else does the prob sound like.tired of the dealers process of elimination

Hard to burn out glow plugs when a ctd doesn't use them =)

just went thru the same exact thing. took it to a local shop and found a loose injector line. he tighten it and it fired right up so he took it a drive and came back and shut it off.tried to start it again and it wouldnt so we replaced the injectors and havent had a problem since.
