dumb question...

Does anyone know if 3rd gen mirrors will fit on a 2nd gen? Looking to put towing mirrors on my 2500 and found a good deal from a guy in town, but the ones he has are off a 3rd gen. Thanks

They will not bolt up to the door, the base is different...
