Default cold air/warm air

I have a 2004 2500 diesel that blows cold air on the drivers side and warm air on the passenger side. What is the problem and how hard is it to fix?

sounds like you have the infamous vent door issue. It gets stuck and the only way to fix it is to pull the whole dash a part. It's a lot of work but, can be fixed

Do a search on google or cummins forum there is a way to fix it without tearing the whole dash apart.

I have been searching forums but haven't found much on it yet. I will check google. Does this happen on the Ram 1500? Do both trucks share the same components?

I found the answer. Getting the system recharged has worked for some people. If the doors are broken you can order them from Heatertreater. They also show you how to check the doors to see if they are broken and how to change them out.
