Question ABS and (!) Brake light in cahoots

Hey, ABS light and my E brake light recently came on in my 96 Cummins, sometimes they will go off but usually come back on, they only come on as a pair and sometimes flicker.
I had this happen on my 1997 2500 5.9 Gas, but all I did was replace a relay and it fixed it, but that didnt work on the Cummins...

this all started after I loaned the truck to the girlfriend and she broke the E Brake Locking mechanism by lifting the handle and engaging the brake
(easy fix), But the old Dodge also had E-Brake issues Could the lights be related to the E-Brake??

Thanks,

Fairly common for the sensor on top of the rear diff to go bad, but check the fuse first. (left end of dash) They've been on in my truck for so long I forget about them. I had problems with the ABS so I just pulled the fuse, brakes work better than ever.
