K&N are good filters but a bit overpriced.
They were practically identical inside to the premium Bosch filter but I think Bosch has purchased another company and switched suppliers.
I think they were both made by Champion Labs.

on my '91 the owners manual had a warning to NOT use Wix or FRAM. Didn't see it in my '05 but I still won't use either. I think I read that Wix change materials since then... don't know but it is not worth taking a chance.

I am always amazed on all of the truck, car, & motorcycle boards how folks will pay thousands of dollars for a vehicle, add hundreds or thousands more in accessories and then want to say a couple of dollars on oil or filters. Go figure...

I have used K&N on everything since my 97 f-350....
