for the taillights I also have the LED light strip that goes under the tailgate
its already on my truck though

 

I like them and was thinking about getting something similar. The only thing I'm worried about is, Will these lights use the same amount of power or draw more. I've heard about the lighting wiring bundle getting too hot or melting because they use a lot more power.

 

That's what I was thinking too so. what I will do is take a good look at the wiring and see what gauge it is may just change the wires to a 12 gauge wire
they probly 16 gauge now I'll have to pull the schematics from all data see what they are. Or hook in a relay for the headlights but i worry about a lamp out light on dashboard. but at this moment I am not sure how they are wired so this is all guess work won't know till next week when i take it apart. to install new lights.
