Default My first Black smoke, boy is that addictive...

I just bought this truck 2 days ago with mods on it already, and I was playing with the Banks stuff today while driving, I turned it up past 6 into the speed loader and moved the right hand mirrow down pointed at the exhaust. It was cool to be able to just crank it up blow smoke, spin the 37's, and accelerate like nothing else, then turn it back down and get great fuel milage, I love this new truck...

All said and done with trade of the old one, cash down (the ammount we were going ot put into the mods on the old truck) I came out to finacing just under $16K, so it is really affordable...

As for the tires, Neigher my wife nor I like them so I have no issues melting them off, either that or we will look into trading them to someone who is looking for the mud terrain look...

Make sure you have a secondary fuel pump before the injection pump other wise running that past 4 or 5 you'll be bring it in to the dealer and seeing someone like me for injectors or a injection pump. Nice truck by the way.

You didnt answer how much was the truck out the door. Nice truck tho.... just be careful you get into it to much your likely to melt more than just your tires....

Well it was for a few short acceleration bursts, then I just turned it down, I normally run it between 2-4, but wanted to try each setting. My father-in-law came down today for my wife's B-day and I took him for a ride and cranked it up then too, so it isn't like I am doing it a lot, plus with the banks setup they have so many safety features it cranks the thing down if the EGT's get too high and they never got too high anyway...

As for out the door, just about $33K, I know it's a little high, but I got them to come down some so that's good...

Nice!

Smokin' 'em up gets addicting real quick.

Sanford, one thing to remember is he doesn't have a VP44 and isn't nearly as suseptable to the low fuel pressure issues that your truck is. The CP3 in the 3rd Gen's is the same CP3 that is on the Duramax and they don't even have lift pumps.

Now, is it a good idea to have an AirDog or FASS? Damn skippy.

Oh I guess I should update my sig to be more clear, it is an 07 w/ 5.9 and G56 6spd manual. The 6.7 trucks had a 6 spd auto and 6spd manual, but I was trying to avoid the 6.7 trucks when I was looking for one...
