Default First time putting Antifreeze in my 94

I've only owned this truck for about 6 months and I had a Antifreeze leak a while back and fix but filled it up with water for just the summer to save cash. I'm not sure how much antifreeze my 1994 2500 5.9l Cummins will need for the cold Canadian winters. I did read something on the Cummins site to not go over 60antifreeze/40water cause of geling. Also how much antifreeze in total will it hold? Also which is best antifreeze brand to use? Thanks.
