Default Weird Shifts

A little while back I posted that my transmission was stuttering when shifting and wasn't acting right. I took it to the trans shop yesterday and had a flush, filter and the bands adjusted. They said that was my problem because the one band was pretty loose. I picked it up and it shifted fine all the way home thought I had the problem fixed but then it started up again. It doesn't do it all the time just under certain accelerations. I have heard that the valve body's on these trans are crap but what does these valve body's do and what are the symptoms of a bad one? Sorry for the life story but any input would be muchly appreciated. Thanks.

Is it doing it under light throttle conditions?

Holding a gear too long and then slamming the next gear hard?

Down shifts seem to bang the transmission?

Well kinda if I take it way easy and ease into it like I'm about ninety years old it will run through the gears nice and smooth and the same if I just whomp on it. If I give it a quarter to three quarter throttle it stutters around when it comes time to hit that second gear. After that it will run through the rest like nothing. It kinda acts like a allison does when you sit and spin your tires in dirt.

Sounds like the governor solenoid or governor solenoid pressure sensor.

Very easy fix. If you can change the tranny fluid, you can do it.

I have a whole DIY on doing it and I can get you the parts for it.

Here, go to this link and click on Governor Solenoid and Pressure Sensor Replacement.

Hell that's a simple easy DIY. Roughly how much is that Sensor and Solenoid going to run? The symptoms sound the same as what they described on that link you gave me.
