Auto is what you want. First thing to do when you get it home. before you add HP trans and Gauges to it FIRST. then what ever engine mods you want to do go ahead and get them. The transmissions are ok as long as your stock or little amounts of horsepower no more then 40hp area after that the trans is able to fail without warning. Suncoast or Goerend is the best transmissions around. if you need any parts check out our vendor section. Some in their have Just diesel shops and that is all they deal with. that will be your best bet.

what's a cummings

anyway, an auto will get down the track faster but lots of $$$ to do so, a manual will be a lot cheaper and more reliable than the auto to put the power through, all depends on what you want to do

I would go for a full billet auto, from either suncoast or goerend...They both have a excellent reputation and will build strong trans for your application.
