[quote=Coal Train;1948949]Yes, definitely do the air intake and muffler replacement. Those are the two worst parts of the air path on the truck. Along with a gauge set, those are two things that you do want to do.

As for the leveling kit, yes, you need either coil spacers or springs replacements.

The alignment is good to get after the level, but the main thing you'll need is the steering wheel to be recentered. When you do the level, it's going to force the steering wheel to be cocked slightly to one side due to the change in height affecting the steering components. That's usually to only affected part.[/quote

Ok, way Kool, pm me some awsome prices for cai and muff and the guages I might need, I think I want to put them under the lie-o-meter, I want to get keep the I'm old hand bars by the door. I thinking of getting a diablo sport, or what ever you might suggest is good for what I want my truck to do, and spacers or springs, which is better, Thanks again Coal Train

Pat,

As far as gauges, the two that match the stock interior best on the 3rd Gen's are DiPricol and Isspro.

Here's a set of each to compare.

The DiPricols are what's installed on my truck and the Isspro's are the ones I'm holding up next to them.

That LED gives me a visual indicator of the EGT's.

It stays green until 800*, then it turns yellow.

At 1000* it turns orange.

At 1250* it turns red.

I have it setup with the water / meth injection.

The first shot fires at 800* and at least 15 psi, the second fires at 1000* and at least 25 psi and the third shot fires at 1250* and at least 35 psi.

Sweet
Okay so here is my real questions
How does that work It works off the water/methane system?
Or is it tied into your Gauge?
I said something like that to myself I wish that had a light to tell me the EGT was High.

Also When I drive through to Disney on March 16th I may want to toss on a S&B on my truck. Will I need to pre-order that or is that a stock Item?
Also put my K&n kit on and the turbo is LOUD SO I may toss my shhhh ring back in. But the S&B Is better with the 8 layers. Is that oil charged filter?
Now can i buy just the filter or do I need the hole kit?

The LED is tied to the water and meth.

I only turn that on when I'm horsing around or at the track.

It doesn't do jack for HP, I saw 738 without water / meth and 742 with it.

I'm pushing enough fuel that the only thing the water and meth does is cool the air charge.

As for the S&B, yeah, we'd need to order you one before hand. They come in either wet or dry filters, it's just a matter of preference.

You can buy just a filter, I just need the measurements of what you have now.

Inlet diameter, length and overall diameter.

Coal Train: I have a K&N cold air intake and filter was damaged and needs replacing, can you give me link to a AFE replacment? Filter dimensions are 3 3/4 inlet, 11" length, 6 3/4 across big end. Can go 1" bigger on length and across. Tube to turbo is 4".

AFE doesn't show a direct replacement for that filter, but S&B does.

S&B is a great filter, 8 layer vs K&N's 3 layer.

The part number is CR-4780

Let me know if you'd like a price on it.
