Hi guys, new to this site and just bought my first CTD.

So I just bought an 07 3500 with the 6.7. I was told it was a Cab and Chassis and it has C&C manuals with it. It has a flatbed on it now.The truck has 3500 badges on it so it may just have been sold as a bedless truck. I need to take the VIN to a dealer to find out for sure and it has warranty till next August so I'm probably not doing anything to it till then.

But, I was already looking at the Edge Juice and it said it wont work on C&C models. I was wondering if there were any programmers out there that would work on C&C models? It sounds like a lot of guys like the Smartys, and I'm not really brand specific.

I know I have a lot of time to wait and a lot of upgrades (gauges, intake, etc.) to do before I try to add any more power, but I'm already dreaming about next August.

I've never heard that the programmers don't work on C&C models. but i could be wrong.... So anyways were is the pictures we want to see?????? Must see Truck now please LOL Are you just going to toss a pick truck bed on it or leave it a flat bed?????
What are you going to use the truck for? Hauling or Daily driver?????

I'm graduating from Oklahoma State University in May 2010 and after that my buddy and I are starting a commercial roofing business so it will be hooked to a trailer 90% of the time. I also run cattle so it will be used to haul feed and that sort of stuff. It will stay a flatbed.

Like I said the Edge site says they wont work on C&C and I was looking at another forum where they were talking about them not working on 4500's and bigger but my truck is a 3500 so idk. Sounds like most guys really like the Smartys so I might try one of those.

Already like the site. I tried posting on diesel power mags forum and didnt get much help there.

 

Some of the stand alone modules and programmers don't work on the C&C models and there are some that are gear just toward the C&C trucks.

The Smarty will work on a C&C, even the 4500 and 5500.........found that out on a 5500 flatbed!
