Bad tank of Diesel...FML
I have had bad diesel fuel before it was kerosene mixed with diesel. I don't have a picture of the diesel fuel/k-1 anymore.. But my cp3 and injectors was changed along with the lift pump.. Station took very good care of me and paid for it without any problem. Of course I laid into him with my sad story. But it work and he covered it... My truck didn't run any different it just got horrible mileage like 8 mpg and less.. In my case it was mostly diesel fuel not that much K-1
update: she is still running strong, but i will be keeping a very close watch throughout this next tank of diesel.
on an upside, it does look like the station will be covering the $80 of bad diesel and the $270 it took to fix it.
i didnt raise hell, i just simply went in and was polite with them. it's a small town and i frequent their station, so they recognized me and the fact that our company trucks use a lot of their diesel every year.

That's cool, at least it's taken care of.
You could be like the owner of the Power Stroke that I have in the shop who's neighbors 8 year old kid dumped 2 gals of water into the tank because his buddies told him that it's so cold that it'll make the truck shoot out ice cubes.......
Yeah, no kidding. You can't make that stuff up.
The parents of said 8 year old have almost a $7K bill coming to them.
